Supporters, fans & friends

Through rain, sunshine, snow, ice, scorching temperatures and sub zero degrees, our fans have always turned up to watch The Stripes. We're lucky to have had great support. We’ve had great vocal support at both home and away fixtures. Support from the terraces is always much appreciated by the club.

We’ve had many memorable matches to watch from the sidelines. At the last match of season 2009 where we were crowned champions and promoted to Division 3. The first Div 3 home game in 2010 where supporters went down to the match pitch earlier in the weekend to dig a hole out of the incredible wall of ice and snow so they could watch the match. The Stockholm Cup final against Sollentuna was a magic night for the fans of course and to top it off we had the match against IFK Göteborg in 2012 where 670+ supporters turned out to witness a fantastic event. Lots of great singing, cheering and banter over the years. Brilliant!

In 2009 the Långholmen Football Club Supporters Club (LFCSC) formed. They were an independent supporter group who for years followed our teams in all weathers and conditions to cheer them on during their matches. They did fantastic work in spreading the word of LFC and have a lot of match reports and clips on the Archive page here.

LFC fans mimic the Linesman (Svenska Cup match, 20th August 2012 at Grimsta IP). Clip went viral and continues to be seen all around the world raking up the views..

Långholmen player and fans watch the match report on SVT1 at their local, the Southside Pub. Great vibe! Superb evening!
